El Gran Textil: Una tormenta de participación

Llegamos al final de estos 90 días de campaña y queremos agradecer el impulso que nos habéis dado. Todas vuestras aportaciones transformadas en gotas nos han permitido llegar hasta aquí, una auténtica tormenta de participación que nos permitirá seguir construyendo este proyecto prometedor.

"El Gran Textil" presenta un escenario imaginario que propone un futuro sostenible para Sevilla, nuestro laboratorio, y una mejora en la vida de todos sus ciudadanos. Nuestra investigación sobre cómo alimentar las ciudades sin comernos el planeta sigue adelante, siempre con el arte como mediador, transversal en todos nuestros proyectos. El arte nos ha demostrado, y más en esta época, que tiene un efecto inmediato, flexible y lúdico. El arte es radical y creemos firmemente en ello. Nos ofrece unas gafas con las que ver la realidad desde otro punto de vista y transmitir los deseos que construimos colectivamente.

Nuestro objetivo a corto plazo es imprimir este otoño la lona base de 120m2. También queremos internacionalizar el proyecto y que "El Gran Textil" pueda viajar por todos los continentes y seguir con su propuesta participativa.

Esta campaña para recaudar fondos se inición con la inauguración en la presentábamos "El Gran Textil" y el proceso creativo. La pieza siguió llenando el espacio de la galería, aunque con pocos visitantes, ya que el confinamiento lo impedía. Hace poco fuimos a desmontar la exposición y allí seguía, casi intacta, algunos campos había florecido. Aprovechamos para grabar algunos fragmentos de reflexiones y el porvenir, que esperamos poder incluir en un próximo post.

Como siempre trabajaremos con la incertidumbre y la perseverancia, buscando serendipias y nuevas oportunidades. El proyecto no ha hecho más que empezar por lo que seguiremos organizando acciones artísticas y talleres para que ComoArte impacte y nos haga felices.
