El proceso constructivo: El Aljarafe

Para nuestro segundo post, os vamos a contar el proceso constructivo de nuestra obra.

Usamos como caso concreto la zona de El Aljarafe. El territorio al oeste de Sevilla y forma parte del área metropolitana.

Si habéis leído nuestro primer post (en el caso contrario, os lo aconsejo), sabréis ya que realizábamos una cartografía digital.

A partir de esa creación digital, preparamos el plano de cada pueblo por separado de la cartografía. Esto permite trabajar con detalles y precisiones.
Cada uno de los planos de los pueblos se convierte luego en un patrón. Imprimimos cada plano. Estos pueblos los hemos creado y cosido con los grados medio y superior de patronaje y moda del IES Pablo Picasso de Sevilla. A través de talleres creativos. 
En el caso de El Aljarafe, asignamos a cada dos a tres alumnos del instituto se encargaron de un pueblo. Durante estos talleres, hemos practicado el trabajo en equipo, con un plan de trabajo eficiente y un sistema de reparto de tareas. Dejamos a los alumnos elegir su método de trabajo creativo según sus preferencias y su visión. Una vez que obtenemos el plano del pueblo, se necesita recortar cada parte del pueblo: polígono, bloque, ensanche, autoconstrucción, casco antiguo, parques etc. Cada parte del pueblo tiene su leyenda y sus telas asignadas (¡No te preocupes! Haremos un post sobre la leyenda de la obra).

Gracias al patrón recortado con su centímetro de margen de costura, podemos elegir y cortar la tela. Una vez que tengamos todos los trozos cortados, se cosen entre ellos y luego a su base. Aún no hablamos de la base entera de la obra sino la base para cada pueblo en concreto.

Como lo podéis ver en la foto número 2 y 3 , el patrón pasa del papel a la tela, con la intermediación de la creatividad e imaginación del alumnado. Luego, salimos del centro del pueblo y se añade ruedo (el ruedo es el huerto colectivo que rodea ahora en nuestra utopía a cada pueblo) y bosque a cada pueblo, se ve en la foto número 4: la base del pueblo es negra, el pueblo tiene sus diferentes partes según la leyenda (oro, gris, verde) y el ruedo es la parte alrededor de color beige.
