Sevilla : ciudad invierno

“Sevilla: ciudad invierno” es un proyecto creado por LaPlasita en noviembre 2018. El estudio tiene un gran interés en las cartografías (ciudad) y los manteles (gastronomía). Uniendo estas dos artes, creamos manteles cartográficos para comer sobre de la ciudad y pensamientos interesantes.

“Sevilla: ciudad invierno” se ha iniciado hace casi dos años y sigue estudiándose actualmente. Es una cartografía de la Sevilla que pudo ser, nunca ha sido pero puede ser representada a traves de mapas imaginados y que entonces de algún modo exista en la cabeza de muchas personas.

Estamos recogiendo todas las ideas, los pensamientos y las experiencias en una única cartografía.

La cartografía recorre tres grandes periodos:

  • 1519: el viaje de Magallanes (empieza la globalización).
  • 1905: el comienzo del turismo (las personas se mueven de modo masivo por conocer y experimentar otros lugares, sin necesidad de producir).
  • 1980: la Sevilla de los "descampaos", con la ciudad discontinua (espacios libres que se han urbanizado en lugar de ser punto clave de la ciudad).

El mantel diseña con los planes urbanísticos que nunca llegaron a construirse, con la memoria los recuerdos y las experiencias de la gente.
Con ausencias que se hacen de nuevo presentes, con lo por venir.

Toda esta investigación se está diseñando y luego se imprimirá como mantel.

La cartografía en sí será rodeada de dibujos de plantas urbanas comestibles durante el invierno en Sevilla.
